Our Philosophy

Civility, Courtesy, and Respect are Paramount
This office treats everyone with the same respect whether it is a judge on the Supreme Court or an administrative staff member, and yes, we even treat opposing counsel with respect. We are always professional in our written correspondence especially in the age of emails. We treat every judge, clerk, mediator, and opposing counsel at all appearances with the upmost respect. We always provide courtesy copies, confirming letters and emails, reasonable extensions when requested, and an open line for communication.
Even when presented with unprofessional conduct from Courts, adversaries, or opposing counsel, our firm remains steadfast in its commitment to proper decorum. Despite professional ethical rules requiring this philosophy in practice, it is not universal among attorneys. We find that this is the best way to practice and is always beneficial for our clients long term.
We want to settle your case. The cost of a trial can be extremely expensive and juries are unpredictable. A well-structed settlement is almost always in your best interest. We understand that you want to “win” and you want justice. However, there is a reason they sometimes call us counselors. A settlement buys you peace of mind and we structure the settlement to release you from all future claims stemming from your case. And you’ll no longer incur legal fees once the settlement agreement is executed and your case and file are closed.
Often when we do a cost/benefit analysis of how much legal fees would be projected, compared to the cost of the settlement, and often settlement is in your pocketbook’s interest. Let us guide you to the best decision for your business or personal interest, your bank account, and your peace of mind.
Settle!
